Position Description:

Provide Legal support for commercialized financial services through review of promotional and marketing activities to ensure regulatory and legal compliance

Maintain a deep and current awareness of evolving Financial regulations and interpretations, advisory comments, enforcement actions and policy issues;

Effectively partner with Financial Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing and other Commercial colleagues to ensure promotional labeling, advertisements and educational materials are reviewed in a timely fashion throughout the product life-cycle;

Collaborate with internal clients at all levels, including but not limited to, Marketing, Managed Markets, Investments, Financial Affairs, and Global colleagues in legal and compliance matters

Work closely with Corporate Counsel to administer policies, procedures, and guidelines in core compliance areas (such as antikickback, antitrust, antibribery, data privacy & security)

Perform other legal, administrative and corporate duties upon request
Responsibilities

Solutions Analysis: Interpret data and identify possible answers. Involves navigating a wide variety of processes, procedures and precedents.

Policies and Procedures Development: Develop, test, and maintain procedures and guidelines to support the organization in the implementation of, and compliance with, internal policies and/or external regulations.

Internal Client Relationship Management: Contribute to the management of partnering relationships with internal clients, building effective working relationships and providing high-quality professional services to support in delivering business strategy and plans.

Recommendations: Advise managers how to apply a wide variety of existing procedures and precedents.

Information and Business Advice: Resolve queries from internal or external customers or Investors by providing information on policies and/or procedures, referring complex issues to others.
Risk Scenario Modeling: Analyze and assess the risks associated with products/individual applications/new business areas/the market to quantify risk and ensure it is within the agreed risk appetite.
Qualification and Experience:
- Masters required in finance, accounting, economics or other relevant major.
- Minimum ten (10) year prior experience in commercial banking or loan servicing. Concentration in investments and/or multifamily assets is preferred.
- Client Relationship Management mastery
- Outstanding investment expertise and knowledge of broader planning topics
- Strong analytical skills, as well as knowledge of commercial banking operations.
- Prior experience with Excel and MS Office required along with cash flow modeling / forecasting and familiarity with Investment Funds.
- Team player, organized, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and ability to multi-task.
- Strong writing skills required.
- Foreign language capabilities preferred though not required.
- Compensation: Excellent compensation package, including competitive base salary and fringe benefits. (in case previous salary of selected candidate is higher than Market Salary, your previous salary will be matched.)
